Hello,
Comma has just posted in the Logic 9 forum of Logic Users Group under the title of How do I set the default velocity level for MIDI notes?.

Here is the message that has just been posted:

When I create a new MIDI region in a new session, it does not default to the max velocity value. Is there any preference where I can set this?
Steps:
1. Create new session
2. Create new instrument track
3. Create new MIDI region on inst. track
4. Draw a note using pencil tool
Result:
If this is a new session, the default is not max velocity. If I set it to max velocity, that remains the default for the session. Just trying to save that extra step.
Thanks!
Ryan
