Intermittent Midi Notes Off

Logic Pro v7.

Somehow I've set Logic to only play alternate notes on C2 & F2 - ie: C2, nothing, C2, nothing, etc.  You can see it triggering alternatively in the input monitor.

Not a hardware issue , these notes are fine in Protools and work on the keyboard when local control.

Could this be a filtering issue?  Can't find anywhere in the program where I can address this specifically.  Don't know how I got here but any answers appreciated.
