Thanks so much for all of your help regarding the Time Signature issue 
but I still can't get them in the correct position. Obviously because 
of the fact that they are in an odd time they won't be in the right 
place rounding off to the nearest bar line however in the Marker 
section of Globel, please excuse my basic language being a newbie to 
Logic, they can be placed on the right position in the bar when 
watching the playhead going through. I went to Options - Markers - 
Create Without Rounding which seems to have worked, but when I try and 
move the Time Signature to the same position as the Markers they won't 
go there, so to speak.
I will have to do a lot more reading as you have suggested and thank 
you for recommending the Logic Notation Guide, I shall certainly look 
out for this.
