I see that XFER Records has a new plugin out called "LFOTool." Looks alright, pretty useful on its own to do volume and filter automation. But. What really interests me is that it can push out its LFO info as MIDI CC data, ostensibly to control another synth or effect. What I want to know is how on earth would you wire something like that up in Logic, so that this CC info gets generated and shunted to, say, ES1 or something else? Can you just throw it in an effects chain on your softsynth? I would imagine not. Is there some sort of control linking that I'm forgetting about? If it works in Logic, it seems like it could be a useful tool for performing repetative automation tasks...why draw the curve over and over if you can just tempo-sync an LFO to do it for you? ______________________ Eric Oehler [email protected] www.nulldevice.com www.submersiblestudios.com ------------------------------------ The LUG has a new home on the web, to visit and sign up please go to: http://www.logic-users-group.com/ Yahoo!
