I imagine there's going to be quite a bit of activity in that segment of the iPad app market. There are already more music and controller apps than can be easily catalogued, and I expect there'll be more every day. We need a clearing house, and I'm currently looking for a site or blog that does a good job of finding and reviewing the apps we're interested in.
But until I find it, I'm wondering about a touchscreen/wireless controller interface to MainStage...? That'd get you instrument control. Is it out there yet? I don't know, but I bet it's on the way...
