Hello,

esteso has just posted in the Logic 9 forum of Logic Users Group under the title of Multi cycle record problem.

I've got Logic set up to cycle record and I've got "create take folders" selected. The 1st channel of the instrument (Kontakt in this case) will not play back the data that's recorded on that track. The midi is there, I can see it but I can't hear it.

I can record into the 2nd or 3rd channel of the same instrument, no problem. But not the 1st midi channel. I've tried different instruments with the same result. I could create tracks in cycle record but this is not what I want because the naming convention become very clunky with a large template. (they are all named Inst. 1 for instance, even if you rename it Taiko)

I've tried auto punch with the same results. I've tried disabling Cycle, disabling record enable on the track in question but none of that makes a difference. I've tried it in a brand new project with the same result so I'm at a loss. This all works fine when using a single (non multi) instrument

Any thoughts?
