Hello,
jonperl has just posted in the Logic 9 forum of Logic Users Group under the title of Incorrect triplet notation when tied?.
This thread is located at http://www.logic-users-group.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4822
Here is the message that has just been posted:

I'm noticing Logic is flaky about displaying triplets - I've hard-quantized the notes to a 12th gird in a 4/4 meter, forced legato, etc. Continuous 8th note triplets (12th notes) display correctly as 8th-note triplets: but, if I have a 12th note followed by a 6th note (so to speak), Logic displays it as a 16th followed by a dotted 8th rather then as a triplet 8th followed by two tied triplet 8ths.
This happened in a completely different song yesterday.
Any advice?
