Still, the original poster was saying how he uses all the latest versions of Logic and OSX on his G4 so obviously this is an ancient discussion. Not wanting to deny your problems but this put the "we all seem to be having.." statement in a slightly different light. :)
(By the way, I remember these dramatic posts about 7.0 and 7.1 but in the end there were really only a dozen people complaining.. but that's the well known effect of only writing to the list if there's something to complain about) :)
