I never worked with FreeMIDI, so I am not familiar with it. I don't know the MIDI Time Piece 
interfaces neither.
At least there is a OMS driver for the MIDI Time Piece (maybe only for version I ???) usually 
under System Folder/OMS Folder/. Is this driver present? When yes - give it a try and 
deinstall FreeMIDI for a change.
