Hi all,

thanks to all the contributors here. It makes for a very interesting
read. My current issue: need to still run my G3/OS9/Soundiver/OPCODE
Studio 4/Synth rig and link it with my OSX/G5 mac.

my aim is to continue to manage editing and sound libraries with
soundiver via the os9/soundiver rig. works perfectly and am very happy
with everything.

i am thinking a midi patcher like edirol um880 or um550. but not quite
sure how to best link the 2 setups yet.

i will have a keyboard midi controller in the middle of it all too.

i also own a tascam fw-1082 that links to the G5.

i need to play in the parts to osx for midi recording/editing, whilst
also playing the os9 synth rig for audio recording.

do any of you have any ideas, and would like to share the secrets of
your studios?

many thanks!

george
