[SoundDiver] RE: Reviving a Roland D-70

Hi folks.

I am new to the group, though I have had SOUNDDIVER tucked away in my studio for years now. I recently watched one of my loved ones go under the knife and am now trying to help with rehab. Yes, I am talking about my D-70. Unfortunately, when the repairs were made, it was necessary to remove the battery and, yep...braindead. Now, for some reason, it seems like only half of the data will load. All of the wave data appears to be there still in the ROM chips, and they are playable as tone/wave data. I would guess that less than half of the patches came back. At first I thought it was only B bank patches, but that is not the case. I tried re-installing several times, only with the same results.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Terry
