[SoundDiver] Stability / Best version of OS 9?

I'm interested in buying 3.0 but I have a question. I got a (probably ancient)) version of SD with my Alesis QS 6.1 and it crashes in OS 9.2.2 and OMS 2.3.7 (7 works better for another app I have).
Generally, what is the best combo of OS and OMS numbers for Soundiver 3?
