You may be happy to stay with OS 10.4.x , but I'm not.

I enjoy the new functions that OS upgrades give me, and I'm currently running in OS 10.6.6 which is stable and works perfectly for me.

There are many software apps that actually will NOT run in 10.4 and require 10.6.x, and the same will most likely begin to apply with 10.7.x

I have a "legacy" Mac (a G4) which I keep to boot in OS9 when required, so I suppose I'll have to run Sounddiver on that....
