Amongst my collection I have a T2 and, at the moment a T3 needing a new power supply. SoundDiver works fine with the T2.
I had patches on floppy and card from the T3 when it worked which loaded into the T2 and then SoundDiver captured with no issues.
As I understand it all the T series are identical apart from the keyboard size, so maybe your T3 or interface or setup has a fault?
What symptoms do you have?
Is the synth connected directly to the interface or do you have it via another instrument's MIDI thru? Most patch Librarians have issues if there is too much nonsense between send and return connections.
Are you on a pc or a mac, and which OS?.
Which interface are you using, and does it function correctly in other respects?
In order to check the issues which arise from time to time, I also keep an old version of Cakewalk, which does a perfect sysex to and from almost anything. There are other programs I'm sure, but that's the one I got when I graduated from DOS.
All of the patch saving work I did in DOS as far back as 1984 still works fine but has to go via the actual instruments to create a clean capture for SoundDiver.
Sometimes the downloaded patches won't import into SoundDiver, but need to be loaded into the instruments first. Sometimes they just don't work. I don't have the expertise to understand why, and in any case I normally only want to know what I have to do to get the result I hoped for, rather than to kick up dust. A lot of dust on the trail some days.
If you have a particular set of patches or specific sound you want, I might be able to provide it if all else fails.
Many of the best sounds I've found are covered well in the TR rack and the Triton Rack. Clav, Brass and Strings all very similarly based I think. Obviously this isn't the point here.
