I hope you got the CD with it or the authorization will expire after a while.
A work round is to use a mac OS10.3 or similar and find a Logic7 dongle and the Beta version 3.1 I think it was that was a freebie for a while. This one doesn't need re-authorizing.

If you save the new patches to the instrument in question, close SoundDiver and then do a sysex dump to another program like cakewalk or similar, you can still use the programs you create. I use a uno interface that works great on anything that has usb if you trawl for the correct driver,

I still use SoundDiver 3.0 most days and have a varied collection.
The DX7 is a can of worms though, I must have thousands that only serve to confuse.
D50 also.
It seems the longer an instrument exists the more nonsense is generated.

Good luck with your Diving.

      Hi all,

New guy here, recently picked up an old pentium 2 from a musicians garage sale and as luck would have it!!!! Sounddiver 3! I've been hanging out for the cash to pick up midiquestXL but 99% of the reviews haven't been great so I think I lucked out.

I'm only just starting to get my feet wet tonight I plugged up my faithful DX7 and just clicked about a little. This is going to take some time and reading to get the full benefits, I'm hoping I can also repay the karma and make instrument files of some of my other equipment to try to boost everyones library! (Unless there is a super library I'm missing out on!!)

Hopefully there are still users of this group, and I look forwards to sharing and learning!

Cheers

-Dave
