This doesn't fix it. There are .ADA files, cannot recall but I think these referred to adaptations in the pre Apple era. Then there are of course many "files" or "file-like" "whatevers" here and there, some found inside compiled applications, some here and there in the system. Looking at the SoundDiver 3.1.0 Public Beta 2 file, I right-click and Show package contents. various things in there, including a folder Contents, and in that the folder MIDI Device Plug-ins, and inside it a set of ".bundles", names for instance "DX7.bundle", "Virus.bundle" and so on. This set of things all ending in ".bundle" appears to relatively closely and maybe completly match the list of installable items found when hitting the menu item Install inside a running copy of SoundDiver 3.1.0 Public Beta 2. Nowhere is it possiblle to install (for instance) the Yamaha VL1, though it used to be there - I have the VL1.ADA (put together by Skerjanc?) and used it, cannot recall but am pretty sure it needed to be the .ADA made for the VL1m, but it worked rather well in Diver. I will try a new install of the beta. There has also been at least one extensive (complete) environment accessing the ordinarily hidden parameters of the VL1... Any ideas? A prefs fils that needs renewing? Waldorf Pulse is missing, Yamaha VL1 is missing - I know I've seen at least the VL1, since I used the excellent adaptation for it many times a few years ago. > > AFAIK the adaptation files just have to be in correct folder: /Users/(your name)/Library/Application Support/Emagic/SoundDiver Adaptations. > Maybe SoundDiver does not recognize the files?
