thats because it only sends banks and it will only update on the synth when you update the bank

its how the adaption was created and how yamaha implimented it

  Hello, I'm using Sounddiver 3.0.5 with my Yamaha TX81z and when I select a patch in the Device window, it is not selecting the corresponding patch on my TX81z as I would expect. Also, when changing the name or other param of a patch, it is asking that I transmit the whole bank back to the TX81z rather than just that patch. Any idea?
