Yup, I use SD 3.0.5.2 on both a dual boot Mirror Drive Doors G4 booted to OS 9.2.2, and a PC with XP SP3 on it, using the version 3.0.5.4 of SD (the PC equivalent of 3052). Both work as perfectly as I need. I even got the Windows version working on Windows 7 running on an XW8600 server (which has my Pro Tools 10 installation on it); the 64bit version of the OS! although there were issues with some of my synths not playing right with my M8UXL MIDI interface, so I had to abandon the W7 dream, and revert to XP, where it runs lovely with a Unitor 8 mkII like yours. Better than clunky Mac OS9, and miles better than the OSX Beta version, which is completely dud for my synths. Buggy to the max and utterly <span>unusable.<br> I'd be amazed if you got SD to work under Classic. Repor
ts are such that it doesn't work, so I never even bothered trying.<br> If you're serious about using SD these days, don't even think of looking at using a computer (or OS more specifically) newer than a decade old. I have ingeniously woven (using MIDI cables) my Unitor 8 & computer under XP, to the M8UXL & computer under W7. So I can share music making with patch transferring without having to endlessly repatch MIDI cables.<br> Do it!<br><br> CG<br></span>
