My situation has changed and I now own a fair few synths so resurrec= ting SD is something I would quite like to do. I am running Pro Tools HD under 10.9.5 on my main computer and have a Powe= rbook G4 running 10.4.11. It runs the public beta 3.2 stably but I also hav= e a Classic installation on that machine so could run SD under OS 9.2 I have a Unitor 8 MkII on my Pro Tools rig and an MT4 available for the G4= . I have tried connecting the two computers via a physical MIDI connection = (routing in Pro Tools) for SD talk to the synths connected to the Unitor 8. This did not work - SD kept complaining that the Sysex connection was not = valid. I also tried to hook the two computers up via AMS Network. They seem to co= nnect to each other fine, but alas, SD is having none of it. I did at some point install SD on Parallels but found that setup cumbersom= e as things like copy and past shortcuts did not work (no idea why). Is anyone actually still running SD in this day and age or am I the only o= ne attempting this in 2015? =20 =20 =20 =20 ----------MB_8D301CB22ED01CE_3DC_543240_webmail-vm076.sysops.aol.com Content-Type: text/html; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit <head> <style type="text/css"> <!-- /* start of attachment style */ .ygrp-photo-title{ clear: both; font-size: smaller; height: 15px; overflow: hidden; text-align: center; width: 75px; } div.ygrp-photo{ background-position: center; background-repeat: no-repeat; background-color: white; border: 1px solid black; height: 62px; width: 62px; } div.photo-title a, div.photo-title a:active, div.photo-title a:hover, div.photo-title a:visited { text-decoration: none; } div.attach-table div.attach-row { clear: both; } div.attach-table div.attach-row div { float: left; /* margin: 2px;*/ } p { clear: both; padding: 15px 0 3px 0; overflow: hidden; } div.ygrp-file { width: 30px; valign: middle; } div.attach-table div.attach-row div div a { text-decoration: none; } div.attach-table div.attach-row div div span { font-weight: normal; } div.ygrp-file-title { font-weight: bold; } /* end of attachment style */ --> </style> </head> <html> <head> <style type="text/css"> <!-- #ygrp-mkp { border: 1px solid #d8d8d8; font-family: Arial; margin: 10px 0; padding: 0 10px; } #ygrp-mkp hr { border: 1px solid #d8d8d8; } #ygrp-mkp #hd { color: #628c2a; font-size: 85%; font-weight: 700; line-height: 122%; margin: 10px 0; } #ygrp-mkp #ads { margin-bottom: 10px; } #ygrp-mkp .ad { padding: 0 0; } #ygrp-mkp .ad p { margin: 0; } #ygrp-mkp .ad a { color: #0000ff; text-decoration: none; } --> </style> </head> <body> <!-- |**|begin egp html banner|**| --> <br><br> <!-- |**|end egp html banner|**| --> <div style="font-family:arial;color:black;font-size:10pt;"> Its totally awesome that your running sound diver in 2015. here my best setup I had it on a windows 2000 computer at one time then upgraded that to windows xp.
