=C2=A0Yup, I use SD=
 3.0.5.2 on both a dual boot Mirror Drive Doors G4 booted to OS 9.2.2, and =
a PC with XP SP3 on it, using the version 3.0.5.4 of SD (the PC equivalent =
of 3052). Both work as perfectly as I need. I even got the Windows version =
working on Windows 7 running on an XW8600 server (which has my Pro Tools 10=
 installation on it); the 64bit version of the OS! although there were issu=
es with some of my synths not playing right with my M8UXL MIDI interface, s=
o I had to abandon the W7 dream, and revert to XP, where it runs lovely wit=
h a Unitor 8 mkII like yours. Better than clunky Mac OS9, and miles better =
than the OSX Beta version, which is completely dud for my synths. Buggy to =
the max and utterly unusable.
=C2=A0 I'd be amazed if you got SD to work un=
der Classic. Reports are such that it doesn't work, so I never even bothere=
d trying.
=C2=A0 If you're serious about using SD these days, don't even th=
ink of looking at using a computer (or OS more specifically) newer than a d=
ecade old. I have ingeniously woven (using MIDI cables) my Unitor 8 & compu=
ter under XP, to the M8UXL & computer under W7. So I can share music making=
 with patch transferring without having to endlessly repatch MIDI cables.
