March database archives released

new database archives

The new database archives for March have been released on
March 4th. Sorry for the delay of the announcement-email - I almost
forgot to send it.

Please do not re-download the whole database, if you already have an
old complete database archive. All complete database archive releases
from 21st of Juli 2001 or newer can be updated using the
update-archives. Users of the Unix format database archives can simply
extract the update-files over the existing database, while users of
the Windows database archives can use the freedb-updater to update
their archives. If you need more than one update-file, please make
sure, that you apply them in the correct order (i.e. oldest first,
newest last).

freedb mirrors
--------------
Last month we lost two mirrors at least temporarily. no.freedb.org and
fi.freedb.org are down due to technical problems and it's uncertain if
and when these problems will be resolved. If you used one of
these servers, please switch to a different server for now.
