January database archives released

Hello fdb-announce list-members,

The new database archives for January 2004 have been released a few days
ago.

Please do not re-download the whole database, if you already have an
old complete database archive. All complete database archive releases
from 21st of July 2001 or newer can be updated using the
update-archives. Users of the Unix format database archives can simply
extract the update-files over the existing database, while users of
the Windows database archives can use the freedb-updater to update
their archives. If you need more than one update-file, please make
sure, that you apply them in the correct order (i.e. oldest first,
newest last).

In collaboration with the admins of our mirror servers, we also
finally resolved the problems with several mirror servers, which
haunted us throughout the second half of December. So the freedb
network should now work flawlessly again.
