Testing plans for PostgreSQL implementation of cddbd

My PostgreSQL implementation of cddbd seems functional, though I am
sure that there are bugs left to be discovered.  There are also a few
unresolved issues, as well as efficiency concerns.  This
implementation also allows multiple artists for each disc and track.

I have some questions about testing.  I have a few possible steps to
take.

Start receiving updates from the master database, if this is allowed.
This should test for problems with regular updates, and verify that
the server can handle the load and the files which are received.

Make the server available for public use.  This would not be an
official server.  Updates on this server would not propagate elsewhere
until it becomes an official release.  Users could verify that the
form of a file looks reasonable.  Updates could be done with the right
tools.

I have a machine which is running the server now, but its DSL
connection is a bit flaky.  The server is currently down.  I could
make this available, and fix the DSL, or I could look for another site
which is willing to host a PostgreSQL cddbd server for testing
purposes.

Release the software.  This really should be done soon, with plans for
regular updates.

Publicize my TODO list.
