Oops. I spoke too quickly. I tried a couple of methods of writing new files, but I didn't try the right one. I tried two different clients but didn't try to client which writes a new files using http. You could switch clients for your bothersome submissions, and use a client which email as uses cddbp. cddbd_async_command doesn't quite do the right thing. '&' is converted to ' ', but other changes aren't made. '&' and '=' are converted into hex, for example. I suggest a standard cgi library, such as libcgi to covert the strings.
