It is the starting frame of the track There are examples on how to derive this information using SPTI (RELIABLE) and ASPI (Not so much). On the freedb website. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Brian Canning Sent: Sunday, November 09, 2003 11:16 AM To: Free Db List Subject: [fdb-apps] Off Set Hi All I have been trying to get a Delphi component to access the CDDB to work for a long time, I have now given up and I'm going to attempt to write my own. I have been reading up on protocol and stuff and I'm a little confused on a few things. Offset, what is this? Is it the starting frame of each track or the number of frames in each track? If it is the starting frame, how would I get or calculate this use the windows MCI? Any help would be great Brian _______________________________________________ fdb-apps mailing list [email protected] http://dtype.org/mailman/listinfo/fdb-apps
