I'm new with Jack Audio. I'm in the "experimental" first steps. I use Ubuntu Studio 19.04 now, but I started to use Ubuntu in 2014, so... I have some experience with PulseAudio and Alsa. My PC is a H61M-P31/W8 (MS-7788) (MSI) Motherboard, with Intel Core i5-3330 CPU @ 3.00GHz, and 8 GB of RAM. It is a 64 bits installation. My audio card is included inside the main motherboard and is an Intel Corporation 6 Series/C200 Series Chipset (snd_hda_intel). My today issue is about... Each time I try to configure PulseAudio to use my PC audio card with surround sound (7.1), I get that, I get all the surround audio channels working so fine! But... I cannot to start the Jack server!!! To start the Jack server, I have to configure the audio system to use the standard Stereo (Front-Left and Front-Right) audio channels, ONLY!!! What do I do wrong? What did I miss to do? How can I get surround sound FROM and WITH the Jack server? Or... Does jack server work only in stereo mode? Please... I need to know all about this!!! Thanks a lot for your time!!! Blessings and Greetings from Chile!!!
