Isn't that for panning? I.e.: moving channels from left to right instead
of just changing the volume of one (mono) channel?

Hmmm. OK. I do not have much control over the mix, though. I just have
to do some 'postproduction' to make stuff sound a bit better. (some EQ,
compression, limiting: voila)
Still have to see how to do the final dithering with e.g. audacity and
jaminm, at the end of the processing; also the rerecording of jamin's
output in audacity is something I have yet to get working. :-) (more
important)

Thanks for the welcome. No mixes. Importing 2-track audio on the Win32
PC, some editing in Soundforge, then off to Waves' plugins. Maybe a
cuesheet and onto CD.
