I just tried it by mastering a track with some particularly severe
drum transients that defeated JAMin's default limiter. The default
limiter allowed clipping at even a moderate average level. The foo
limiter on it's default release setting allowed me to increase the
average level by around 4dB, and it sounds very good with no
clipping or pumping.
