AFAIK the width of the bands displayed is not handled by glade but by
the gtkmeter code. I might be wrong though...
We already get 25 bands to display, to fit the 30, narrower would not
mean a lot.

Exposing parameters before they get in the code is a bad idea. I've
already been caught by the pre-eq/post-eq/post-comp/output box where
there seem to be just two cases in the code : input and post-comp.

I think we need these everywhere plus an instant "hold all"
Aiming at something like RME's digicheck

 would be great. It's the best tool I've used so far.

Better get my hands dirty but ahead is a steep learning curve. Seems
like a lot of fun ;)
