The 31 band interface is inferior to the other in the application of mastering. Why leave it? How does removal of one EQ interface improve usability?

What are "Algo"? In case anyone doesn't know, Jamin was designed with the correct mastering limiter from the start. If I recall, there was a bug in the original limiter which was addressed by Sampo.

If these changes are prompted by the suggestion that Jamin would be more popular if properly designed, forget it. If Jamin isn't popular it's because Linux audio isn't popular and mastering is misunderstood.

If you can't understand the existing documentation, then write better documentation. To write good documentation should only take a couple years and a dozen mastered albums. With that experience any software engineer worth their salt would be qualified to understand the difference between improvements and compromises to Jamin.
