Heya, Could anybody please reply? :) Alexandre ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: "UrbanaFM :: Ricardo Jorge" <[email protected]> Date: Mon, 2 Nov 2009 22:38:27 +0000 (WET) Subject: Jamin question To: [email protected] Hello Alexandre. I am an enthusiast of open source from a long time ago. As radio manager I was able to implement lots of nice tools here at UrbanaFM, like Ardour, audio stream servers, e-mail servers and so on. Recently I found at Internet, your Jamin software and, to be honest, I was astonished with it capacities. I have an easy question, in order to proceed to next step, jamin hard usage. As you describe, Jamin ask for lots of CPU usage (with a dual 2GHz Xeon, I never got less than 64%) but I am almost sure that is due to the intense graphic action gui need. Is there, any way, to call Jamin in text mode, as well disable real time jack? The intention is to have a on-line radio which usually don't need to change process parameters once tuned. Since we can pass some parameters in Jamin call, I was wondering if there is a way to use it without graphic window. Thanks a lot. Congratulations for this great sotware. All the best. ------------------------------------------------ UrbanaFM :: Muito Mais Musica Ricardo Jorge :: Direcção de Antena Rua Cadetes de Toledo, Lote 5B - 1ºE 6001-156 Castelo Branco Tel: 272 347676 - Fax: 272 328670 www.urbana.fm -------------------------------------------------- UrbanaFM :: Muito Mais Musica Castelo Branco 97.5FM Covilha, Fundao, Caria, Belmonte, Oleiros, Proenca-a-Nova, Vila Velha de Rodao, Nisa ... 100.8FM www.urbana.fm Tel: (+351)272347676 Fax: (+351)272328670 [email protected] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Let Crystal Reports handle the reporting - Free Crystal Reports 2008 30-Day trial.
