BTW, if Jamin exports extra ports for each compressor band, you don't 
need to offer the option of re-combining them. Connect multiple outputs 
to the same JACK port and save yourself that trouble.

(So for my two-way system with a crossover frequency of 200 Hz, I'd have 
three bands, and send the top two to the highs and the bottom one to the 
lows; or, you can set the top crossover frequency to 24 KHz so it 
effectively doesn't exist.)
