I haven't finished it because I found I was lacking a few fundamental understandings of the confusing OS X audio architecture, and because what I did understand meant I would have to write a lot of ugly code to change the push orientation of audio output used by madplay into the pull orientation used by Core Audio. It may certainly at some point be worth finishing. The only practical advantage I'm aware that audio_jaguar could provide over audio_carbon is the ability to output 32-bit samples. -- Rob Leslie [email protected]
