Status of libid3tag

The patch from

still hasn't been applied.  Will it be anytime soon?  I am thinking of
overhauling the id3_file_* interface to support adding (and removing)
tags from files as well as updating already existing ones (beyond the
"primary" one).  Is there any interest in this, i.e., will my patches
actually be applied to this library if they are up to code?  It's a very
nice library with a nice interface, but it could still do with some
improvements.  Thanks,
