mp3 checker ??

was wondering if there a linux version app, of something that can
check any mp3 for corrpution, noise, etc.

Second,
is there any linux app, that can compare,
a mp3 rip or ogg rip, to the orginal .xxx to see which is actual the 
closest to the original
wave forum.
