Summary: Let users find out the current local installed version

Initial Comment:
Users have problems to find out the currently installed version(s) on the local system (e.g. 64bit Win7).
There should be a way to prompt for the
a) 32bit version
and the
b) 64bit version

Keep in mind that a 64bit system could contain 2 versions!

Furthermore having two versions: a codec release number and a file number is confusing.
Could this be synchronized?

Tools like "Codec Toolbox RS" show only the file number but not the codec version.

Thank you
Thomas
