The outcry for the missing 6 dB adjustment won't be big, given that mpg123's parsing of the ReplayGain values from the Info tag was broken from the beginning (wrong number of bits due to a typo). I relied on custom ID3v2 tags... as other folks who post-analyze the audio to also fill in audiophile gain, anyway. Now that I revisited the Info tag, I might hack up a tool that stores the post-analyzed values there, independent of LAME. Alrighty then, Thomas.
