LAME 3.99.5: Friendly ARM 9.0 Application

Hi,

I am using the Lame mp3 3.99.5 encoder for mp3 decoding application.
I'd like to thank you for your great work and I also had a question. I
am trying to use the code for a Friendly ARM 9.0 board with a Linux
OS. I have to compile the code on my PC, which has Ubuntu installed on
it, with arm-linux-gcc in order to get a lame.o file that can be
uploaded on the ARM board in order to implement a mp3 decoder on ARM.
I tried changing the configure / make files but everytime I
encountered errors and realized this is more complicated and beyond my
knowledge. I was wondering if you can show me a way to edit the
configure or make file and modify the code to be complied by
arm-linux-gcc instead of i686 pc linux gcc. It will be great if you
can help me out, I'm trying to use your code for academic purposes and
am really stuck here! Thank you very much in advance.
