Summary: no progress indication with pipe input :(

Initial Comment:
sadly there's no progress indication with pipe input, even when '--verbose' is enabled.
I understand that lame does not know the length, but it could at least output some sort of progress indication to:
a. let the user know it is doing something
b. allow to calculate the current progress position if one knows the length, sample rate, etc. of the current input

Message:
With LAME 3.100 it's possible to change verbosity level, even with input
from stdin.
