Re: HELP. Lame creates .wav.mp3 files instead of .mp3 files

Hi Frans,

this was the usual behavior, from version 3.99 onward it replaces
the .wav extension by .mp3.
  If you need to stay at version 3.98.x, then you'll have to specify
an output file name. Else, install version 3.99.5.
