Using latest lame trunk, I encoded a high bitrate stereo source with "-q 0 -m s -b 320" and a high bitrate mono source with "-q 0 -m m -b 160" and the lame tag still reports usage of the nssafejoint feature (I already reported this in https://sourceforge.net/p/lame/mailman/message/35659838/ ) So, is this normal? If it isn't, then may the patch I suggested here https://sourceforge.net/p/lame/mailman/message/35660533/ (and then added in a better version into my github lame repository) still be useful perhaps?
