Unfortunately, (almost) all this healthy behavior that people learned
from working with git (like the Tested-by, Reviewed-by, logs of
revisions, different committers vs. authors of patches) is usually
destroyed with projects that use Subversion (like LAME), unless the
person who commits the proposed patches is aware of issues at hand...

If I have time, I will try to keep everything (read: "as much as
technically possible") whenever I commit the changes. If I don't have
the time, I would like to ask fellow participants to keep all this
metadata, as it is very, very useful for the people who care.
