Well, the possibilities I see are:
  1) integrate libmpg123 patch with analyzer code
  2) integrate libmpg213 patch and remove analyzer code
  3) do nothing

As of those, 1) is the easiest, 2) would remove code complexitiy, and  
3) does not look like the right thing to do.

If nobody speaks up about it, I would tend to go in direction of 1).

So a release candidate. When would you imagine the full release?

If you make a release and a new patch, I offer to do the work to  
integrate it. But I can only handle the integration of mpg123 into  
configure, the windows side would have to be handled by someone else.  
Anyone out there up for this?
