There are now about 200 changes to LAME since 3.101 and picking the right one from the list may take more than the 5 minutes I've spend. You can use the 4.1 development tree to build lame (preferred), or tell the compiler to ignore that warning. Much more improved than 4.0 in terms of warnings, bugs, and other issues. Encoding quality is the same.
