I haven't managed to find enough time so far to really help Frank. Most 
of the code done so far is from him...
Also we have a sort of TODO list with various steps. It seems that it 
will take a few months to get to a usable state, probably without SV7 
support at the beggining.

Also as I said to Frank, I have to spend more time on Matroska than 
expected because it seems I have to make sure everybody makes valid 
files and find answers on how to use the library. But well, I'll do my 
best to help Frank... At least I read the code and code do some things 
here and there... Also we spend some time to have a workable canvas (and 
lots of discussions) but once we are really started it should progress 
faster.

So that's what I can say for now. Frank will correct me or add more 
elements.
