Question to Frank about planned DRC implementation in MPC

Hi Frank, hi list,

one question about the discussed DRC feature in MPC SV8 :

For AC3, its only possible to select 4 levels of DRC

- none
- light
- normal
- strong

at least in all decoder filter implementations i have met so far, even 
in liba52 ( basis for azid, which we use on Windows ).

Is this going to be the same for MPC DRC, or is it possible to make more 
steps ? Is it sensible also ? I admit, i have no idea what the 
differences in dynamic range are between the 4 steps for AC3 .... is it 
maybe not necessary to have more steps at all ?
