MPC encoder DLL

Hi all,

again i am turning to the matroska Development list with a request for 
help, copied to the mpc-devel list.

As you are all aware we are trying to push the MPC ( musepack ) 
hi-quality lossy audio compression format for use in videos, together 
with Matroska. There is a wide field of applications for MPC in movies, 
like for musicals, video clips, short movies or simply those people who 
only accept the best sound quality in their movies, but dont want to use 
the original AC3 audio from the DVD ( for whatever reasons ).

Most DVDRippers encode their audio using either

HeadAC3he ( http://everwicked.com )

or

BeSweet ( with BeSweet GUI ) ( http://doom9.org )

both programs are complete audio conversion tool accepting many input 
formats such as AC3, WAV PCM, MP3, etc, and being capable to

- downsample ( 48 -> 44,1 )
- downmix ( 5.1 -> 2.0 )
- normalize ( 2 pass or 1 pass )
- encode

to the desired output compression format and bitrate.

Both authors, DA and DG, are prepared to include MPC as output 
compression format, but both want the MPC encoder as a Windows DLL, 
while mppencoder is only availalbe as an exe file ( stable, 1.1 :

Was anybody interested maybe to take the current encoder exe ( SV7 ) and 
make a nice DLL from that, maybe by doing a wrapper ? Forgive me if i'm 
talking rubbish and this is not easy to do at all. After all, we could 
simply wait until MPC will go opensource and the encoder sources are 
available, but this may take some more weeks if i understand Frank 
correctly. Is it a lot of work to make a DLL wrapper for an .exe ?
