@ Frank : Can the coding of a SV7 to SV8 conversion tool begin ?

Hi Frank,

are there any more changes you would think are necessary to add to the=20
SV8 bitstream specs now ?

If not, could people start thinking about a SV7 to SV8 conversion tool,=20
maybe based on foobar2k and the existing SV7 reader plugin ?

P.S. About your question if DRC should be done in matroska or also in=20
the SV8 bitstream, i vote for an independant implementation in SV8, as=20
DRC is too complex to be handled in matroska for all different audio=20
compression formats, just think of lossless formats, so it should be a=20
part of the MPC specs IMHO ...
