Why arent you using the existing libs for that Alex ? There is no need 
to rewrite them ? There are nice C libs for most Stream Version ( SV x 
), and there is even an integer ARM decoder lib for SV7

Yes, we know that, thats the main reason why Frank Klemm, the main MPC 
developer curently, is proposing SV8 as a new Stream Version, replacing 
the 7! before it. In SV8 multi-channel audio will be possible as well as 
DRC ( Dynamic Range Control ), also there will be a clear way to 
identify single blocks, so we can start muxing MPC in other containers 
such as NUT or matroska :) ....
