Hi

So last week I finished off work on the schema change stuff so that 
existing indexes should work okay with new schema and we now build 
indexes for instruments, series and editors. There is some additional 
work I would like to do on editors and some other improvements Id like 
to make such as SEARCH-359 returning area hierachy for areas but done of 
this is required for the schema release so I will do another search 
release a few weeks after the schema release with these improvements.

The critical path for the schema release is for the new indexes to be 
built from an upgraded database and used by the  ui to see if it does 
what is required, and if it doesnt let me know in good time - I dont 
know whos responsibility that is. Im probably not going to make the 
start of the  meeting tonight.
